Vauxhall Recreation Club are to adopt the People Inc HR software application to replace their current system.

The Club was established as a private members sports and social club for the employees of Vauxhall Motors in 1931. 

Over the years the club has continually strived to move with the times with significant changes and improvements taking place along the way. The club’s facilities can be enjoyed by both members and non members and is no longer exclusively for the usage of Vauxhall employees which has often been the general misconception over the years.

Given the brief of supplying a similar product to the one currently being used, and one that was able to operate within the latest Microsoft network environment, our client was quickly able to establish that People Inc by P&A Software was wholly fit for purpose. Making their product selection easier was the fact that People Inc has the capability of offering many additional functional benefits needed in the future to further help streamline HR and operational efficiencies.

As with all People Inc projects, we’re able to make the product transition very straight forward by migrating all existing data and transferring previously developed screens and bespoke application changes into the new product environment automatically. This has meant that we’ll avoid the need to redevelop this capability, which speeds up the implementation time, saving them money along the way, and ensures that users adopt the new system within one week of the project start date. Data held in People Inc will also be transferred through to their payroll system automatically, saving them the time it would take to re-key this information, and ensuring that all data remained accurate and up to date in both systems.

People Inc includes all required HR functionality accessible from within the one database application, covering self-service, core HR, absence & holiday management, training administration, recruitment and performance management.
