Youmanage continue to strengthen it's technical resource base with the appointment of Faraj Osman who has joined the expanding Yomanage Development Team.

A Graduate from Edinburgh's Napier University, Faraj joins Youmanage at a critical time as the business delivers greater functionality to it's customers using the 'online HR toolkit'.

A recent software release saw Youmanage rebuild the Performance Management module, which now enables employees to login to their own Company branded version of the Youmanage portal and complete their performance review online to allow for a more rounded and inclusive process. The increase in overall functionality has also meant that an employees' personal performance objectives can now be aligned to both their teams' goals and the higher level Company goals, offering far greater flexibility and transparency of the review rounds.

The Development team are currently working on drastically increasing the entire functionality of the Holiday & Absence module, allowing for the creation of the following capability:

• holiday entitlement rules, allowing for varied calendar years
• bank holidays can now be set-up by country, region and geographical location
• working patterns, providing operational intelligence between absence management and contracted working days
• self-certification of sickness absence
• batch holiday input eg Company shutdown, ad-hoc Public holidays
• holidays allocated and taken based on hours as well as part/full days
• a new compliant maternity/paternity/adoption leave processes, with legislative guidance content
• automatic calculations now present for pro-rated holidays - based on date of join, length of service, working pattern or full time equivalent (FTE) hours
