Acquisition Drives Growth for HR Technology Specialist Human resources technology specialist company activHR Consulting Ltd has announced aggressive growth plans following its acquisition of the Youmanage software platform. Nick Pye, activHR Consulting’s Founder and Managing Director commented, “This acquisition represents significant progress in our aim of building a UK-wide presence in providing HR Management solutions to small and medium sized businesses.” He continued: “HR systems being delivered as SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) will continue to grow rapidly as companies look for new ways of cutting costs, whilst looking for help with developing their online HR strategies. The product we have, and the skills and expertise of our staff, will ensure that Youmanage HR Ltd can help clients take advantage of these capabilities, and will also underpin our focus of becoming the benchmark for excellence in online HR system delivery”. The acquisition will mean the immediate creation of three new jobs taking the total number of staff to ten for the company based on Stirling University Innovation Park. Nick Pye explained: “ We have aggressive plans for the growth of Youmanage HR Ltd over the next three years. Our strategic plan is to increase the number of clients by 50 next year rising to a total client base of 300 by 2013. That means we will have trebled our client base in three years.” The Youmanage ‘online HR toolkit’ was launched in 2007 and is now being used by organisations in a range of business sectors, from Care Homes and Security to Marketing Services. The Youmanage concept is based on the premise that as organisations improve the focus, competence and productivity of their employees, whilst at the same time complying with relevant employment regulations and standards, they need to provide better support to their front-line managers. Lynn Blaikie, the Innovation Park’s Operations and Business Development Manager, said: ”I’m delighted activHR Consulting are strengthening their position in the market place and bringing new jobs to the Innovation Park.” |
