Taking Youmanage North

Youmanage, providers of an innovative online HR toolkit for small and medium-sized organisations, has announced an exciting partnership with activHR Consulting, a well-respected supplier of HR software products and services.

Stirling-based activHR (formerly known as ERM Solutions) supports over 400 client organisations throughout the UK, providing them with a centre of excellence in software consultancy, configuration, training and support services. From the beginning of August, activHR will be selling a branded-version of Youmanage’s online HR system, primarily targeting medium-sized businesses in Scotland and the north of England.

The company has previously worked with a number of different HR and payroll software vendors and was keen to become a distributor for the Youmanage product range. activHR MD, Nick Pye, explained “we know the HR software market very well and we were very impressed when we saw what Youmanage had to offer.

“Because it focuses on the needs of line managers as well as HR users we believe it can offer benefits far beyond that of traditional HR software, helping to boost employee engagement and productivity as well as simplifying administration and automating manual processes.”

“The fact that it’s completely web-based will also be a big selling point for many clients. We’re finding that more and more clients don’t want the costs and the hassle of running software on their own servers and are looking for this type of managed solution.  We’re excited about working with Youmanage to deliver great services to our clients.”

Youmanage’s online HR toolkit delivers all of the tools, information, processes and guidance that manages and HR users need to be effective - in one easy-to-use service. The system offers a comprehensive suite of modules that support all of the key aspects of a typical employee lifecycle, from recruiting to managing someone out of the business.

To date, Youmanage has not actively targeted the Scottish market, so the partnership with activHR is a notable expansion of the company’s activities.
